Yes. Until 1990, the Honduran government prohibited foreign ownership, which has been the main reason for the slow economical development. However, since the prohibition was lifted, the economy has seen steady increases, largely due to international corporations moving in. For the time being, land remains undervalued in Honduras because it is still relatively undiscovered. |
